„Wir wollen die Region rundum erlebbar machen“ Fragen an den Geschäftsführer „Romantischer Rhein Tourismus GmbH“, Bert Flöck Woher kommen eigentlich die Gäste am Mittelrhein und wie lange bleiben sie? „Die Mehrheit un serer Gäste kommt aus dem In land, das sind drei Viertel aller Reisenden. Bei den ausländischen Gästen liegen die Briten auf Platz Eins, gefolgt von den USA, den Niederlanden und Belgien. Im Schnitt verweilen die Gäste zwei bis drei Tage in der Region, Wan der - touristen auch länger.“ Problematisch war lange Jahre die Unterkunftsmöglichkeit, die Quar - tie re zum Teil überaltert, die Leis - tungen zu hausbacken. Hat sich da etwas geändert? „Hier hat sich einiges getan. Der ro - mantische Rhein bietet seinen Gästen Unterkünfte in jeder Ka tegorie: Von der einfachen Pension über romantische Landhotels bis hin zum Vier-Sterne- Burghotel findet sich im Rheintal für jeden Geldbeutel und Geschmack et - was. Aber auch sein Gegenstück, der linksrheinische Rheinburgenweg von Bingen nach Bad Breisig, wird von den Wan - derern gut angenommen. Durch Unter - stützung des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz sind der Rhein radweg und der von Andernach nach Mayen führende Vul - kan parkradweg nun durchgehend be - schildert und dank unserer neuen Rad - Who are the visitors of the Mit - telrhein and how long do they stay? „Most of our visitors come from Germany, that’s three quarters of all of our guests. Amongst the visitors from foreign countries the British take the first place, followed by the USA, the Netherlands and Belgium.
