BERLIN, BERLIN, DIE NÄCHSTE BILDUNGSFAHRT GEHT WIEDER NACH BERLIN!
BERLIN, BERLIN, THE NEXT EDUCATIONAL TOUR WILL BRING US BACK TO BERLIN!

Dieses Jahr ging unsere „Bildungsfahrt“
nach Berlin, in die Hauptstadt. Es war eine
tolle aber anstrengende Fahrt. Man kann in 3
Tagen nur das Wichtigste sehen. Also müssen
wir unbedingt noch ein Mal wieder kommen!
Am ersten Tag fuhren wir sehr früh los, denn
nach Berlin ist es eine weite Reise. Als wir nach
reibungsloser Fahrt im A & O Hostel Hotel in
Berlin ankamen, wartete bereits eine Kollegin
auf uns: unsere perfekte Stadtführerin. Sie war
das letzte Mal kurz nach dem Fall der Mauer in
Berlin und hat uns sehr gut schildern können,
was sich mittlerweile verändert hat, bzw. was
Mann / Frau unbedingt gesehen haben muss.
Es wurden nur kurz die Koffer ausgepackt
und gleich die Stadt erkundet. Echt super
war die gute Anbindung des Hotels mit der
U-Bahn an die Innenstadt. Auch das Hotelpersonal
war sehr freundlich und hat uns gleich
die „City-Tour-Card“ besorgt, sodass wir in aller
Ruhe mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln
die Stadt erkunden konnten: der Museumsbe-
This year‘s „educational trip“ took us to Berlin,
the capital of Germany. It was a great
but exhausting ride. Being there for only three
days we couldn‘t visit more than only the most
important sights. That‘s why we definitely have
to come back!
It‘s a long way to Berlin so we started very
early in the morning. When we arrived at A&O
after a trouble-free journey one colleague was
already waiting for us: our perfect city guide.
The last time she saw Berlin was soon after the
wall had come down. So she could tell precisely
what has changed in the meantime and what
visitors should not miss.
We quickly unpacked our suitcases and left
immediately to discover the city. The hotel is
very well connected to the centre since the
metro is very close nearby. The hotel staff was
very friendly and recommended us buying the
„City Tour Card“ that gives its owner full access
to Berlin‘s public transportation system and
enabled us to begin our discovery tour without

such, um unserer „Bildung“ was Gutes zu tun
und zum Entspannen in die Hackeschen Höfe.
Das Abendessen haben wir im Restaurant des
Fernsehturms eingenommen. Das war ein dermaßen
guter Start, besser kann man Berlin mit
einer Erkundung nicht beginnen. Einmalig! Zurück
im A & O Hotel wurde sich nicht ins Bett
gelegt. Nein! Wir haben in aller Ruhe in einem
Zimmer die Weinbestände vernichtet. Die Zimmer
sind zwar klein, aber sie glauben nicht, wie
viele Leute und Weinflaschen da Platz haben!
Einfach optimal. Dann wird´s gemütlicher. Man
kann den Tag nochmals Revue passieren lassen
und weitere Bildungsfahrten planen …
Am nächsten Tag ging es nach dem reichlichen
Frühstück auch gleich früh los, denn
wir wollten ja was sehen. Eine unserer Mitfahrerinnen
hatte in ihrem Stadtplan eingezeichnet,
was wir unbedingt ansehen müssen. Wir
haben uns dann gegen Mittag getrennt und in
kleineren Gruppen Berlin erkundet. Jede Gruppe
auf seine Art und Weise. Abends kurz in´s
Hotel zum Umziehen und schon ging es weiter
in den Friedrichstadtpalast, um eine Revue
further bothering for tickets. First we paid a
visit to a museum in support of cultural education,
then we had a relaxed stay at Hackesche
Höfe. We took our dinner in the restaurant on
top of the TV tower which gave our discovery
trip a great start. Absolutely unique! Back at
the A&O hotel we were far away from going to
bed. Not at all! With all the time in the world
we began devouring the wine reserves. Though
the rooms are small it‘s incredible how many
people and how many bottles of wine find space
there. Just perfect and pretty cozy! A great
occasion to look back at the day and to plan
further educational trips...
The next day we started off early in the morning
after a rich breakfast since there was so
much more awaiting us. One of our fellow travellers
had marked the most interesting spots
on a map. So we split up into smaller groups
around noon to enter Berlin once again – this
time each group planned its own trip. In the
evening we met in the hotel to change and only
little later we headed for Friedrichstadtpalast
to see a revue – another great highlight! Also
