and the winter sport fever awakens, trendy ski jackets and pants are the

trend seems to be that the winter begins

behaviour of the consumers. Warm winter
jackets are often shelf warmers. In demand
are instead versatile combinations which
offer sufficient function for the slope
and for open nature, but also fashion
features for the daily use. Above that, more
and more producers have own lifestyle
collections or top-quality, extremely stylish
premium lines in their range. Buying ski
and outdoor apparel just for sports is a
matter of the past. According to Salewa, the
retailers noticed that customers like to use
their functional clothes in a versatile way,
this means, as well for other activities as
originally intended for.
Accordingly, more and more producers
reworked their collections so that you can
wear the styles also when it doesn’t snow or
when the weather is not suitable for winter
sports.
‘Of course, do our ski outfits have all
the features which ensure comfort and
safety in the mountains. Nevertheless, the
ski suits are extremely fashionable and
perfect for daily use,’ says Panu Suominen,
