Multifunktion am Handgelenk<br />
1975 kam dem Ingenieur Tim S. Leatherman auf einer Reise durch Europa die<br />
Idee, ein Tool zu entwickeln, das sich am Alltagsgebrauch orientiert und<br />
bewusst auf die am häugsten benötigten Werkzeuge beschränkt. Ein Geistesblitz,<br />
der durch eine Autopanne ausgelöst wurde, bei welcher der Amerikaner<br />
einen Werkzeugkasten vermisste. Fast 40 Jahre später gilt Leatherman<br />
als Synonym für präzise, langlebige und hochwertige Multitools. Der neueste<br />
Clou ist Armband und Werkzeug zugleich: das Tread gibt dem Begriff Multitool<br />
noch einmal eine komplett neue Windung. Das Multifunktionswerkzeug<br />
wird hier nicht mehr wie sonst üblich im Rucksack oder in der Hosentasche<br />
verstaut, sondern präsentiert sich bei als stylisches und hochfunktionelles<br />
Accessoire am Handgelenk.<br />

... das ist das Motto der neuen Daunenjacke<br />
Mata. Die leichte Wendejacke für Frauen<br />
ist mit europäischen Gänsedaunen befüllt<br />
und besticht durch ihre Wandelbarkeit. Auf<br />
der einen Seite ist die 350 g leichte Jacke mit<br />
der regulären Daunenkammer-Konstruktion<br />
versehen und im unverkennbaren Yeti-Stil<br />
gehalten. Das spezielle Ripstop-Gewebe hat<br />
einen angenehm weichen Griff und sorgt für<br />
einen sehr hohen Tragekomfort. Wendet<br />
man jedoch die Mata, so weist das Gewebe<br />
auf der Innenseite eine zusätzliche DWR-<br />
Behandlung für leichten Regenschutz auf.<br />
Die Wendejacke ist mit zwei geräumigen<br />
Reißverschlusstaschen, einem wendbaren<br />
2-Wege Front-Reißverschluss mit Kinnschutz<br />
und elastischen Pipings an Bund, Kapuze<br />
und Saum ausgestattet.<br />

The light reversible jacket for women is filled<br />
with European goose down and is captivating<br />
due to its changeability. On the one hand it’s<br />
a 350 g light jacket equipped with the regular<br />
down chamber construction and held in the<br />
unique Yeti style. The special Ripstop fabric<br />
has a pleasantly soft grip and ensures very<br />
high wearing comfort. But if you turn the Mata<br />
on the other hand the fabric on the inside has<br />
an additional DWR treatment for light rain<br />
protection. The reversible jacket is equipped<br />
with two spacious zipper pockets, a reversible<br />
2-way front-zipper with chin protection and<br />
elastic pipings on the band, hood and hem.<br />

had the idea of developing a tool<br />
that is oriented on everyday use and<br />
purposely limited to the most often<br />
needed tools on a trip through Europe.<br />
A sudden inspiration that hit the American<br />
when his car broke down and he<br />
was missing a toolbox. Almost 40 years<br />
later Leatherman is rated as a synonym<br />
for precise, durable and high-quality<br />
tools. The newest clou is a wristband<br />
and at the same time tool: the Tread<br />
gives the term multitool an entirely<br />
new meaning. The multi function tool is<br />
no longer stored in a rucksack or pocket<br />
but presents itself as stylisch<br />
and highly functional accessory on<br />
the wrist.<br />
