Tennis
Every sport has its ups and downs, but TENNIS at DSP certainly had
more ups than downs in 2016.
It was a Sport Olympiad year and the DSP would like to thank
all tennis players for their dedication and hard work. And the hard
work certainly paid off. Congratulations to the following players
with fantastic performances at the Olympiad:
• Senior Boys (Max Coetzee & Jannik Gevers) - GOLD
• Senior Girls (Vlleeonnharr Moyo & Laura Klocke) - BRONZE
• Junior Boys (Ralph & Thilo Preusse) - BRONZE
• Junior Girls (Janka Meyer and Johanna Nottmeier) - GOLD
The DSP also performed very well during the Gauteng North
Tennis League for Primary Schools as well as High Schools. Thank
you to all players who participated, for their hard work and good
sportsmanship. Congratulations to Andrej Ristic, Rainer van der
Walt, Raphael Vogetseder and Max Keller who finished 1st in their
pool for the Boys u/11’s. Also, thank you to all the parents who
were able to help with transport. Without you, these wonderful
opportunities would not have been possible!

Pferde Reiten
SANESA 2016
Früh aufstehen, zum Reitstall fahren, Pferde in die Transporter
laden, zum Turnier fahren, Pferde aufsatteln und aufwärmen…
Und dann geht es los.
So ist es vor jedem Turnier und jedes Mal die gleiche Nervösität
vor dem Start. Bei jedem überwundenen Hindernis ist man dem
Ziel ein Stück näher. Das Gefühl mit einem Pferd zu springen ist
unbeschreiblich.
Mir hat SANESA, wie jedes Jahr, riesigen Spaß gemacht und
ich freue mich sehr, nächstes Jahr wieder mit Diesel antreten zu
können. Ich hoffe sehr, dass beim nächsten Mal mehr Reiter von
unserer Schule an SANESA teilnehmen. Es lohnt sich sehr und
macht viel Spaß!
