New RF Switch from
JFW Industries!
JFW is proud to introduce
their latest innovation in highpowered
RF Switching. The 50S-
1887 SMT is a surface-mount
switch that can handle up to 100
Watts (average RF input power)
and it‘s capable of hot-switching
20 Watts. The 50S-1887 SMT is
designed to operate from 225-
400 MHz, but other frequency
ranges may be available upon
request.
Radio Waves
announces
Microwave Antenna
for 42 GHz Band
Radio Waves, Inc. announced
a new line of 42 GHz antennas
including the HPCPE-42
and HP2-42. This new series
covers from 40.5 - 43.5 GHz.
This band will be deployed on
Eastern Europe and other areas
of the world. The HPCPE-42
Discriminator offers 40 dB of
gain and the HP2-42 offers 45
dB of gain. Both of these new
antennas have very high F/B
ratios to mitigate interference.
Andy Singer, President of Radio
Waves stated, „We wanted to
immediately support customers
in Eastern Europe and be the
first microwave antenna company
to supply antennas for this
new frequency band as part of
our international focus. Like all
of our antennas, this new series
comes with our industry leading
7-year warranty“
New Broadband BTS
LNAs are Highly
Flexible, Simplify RF
Design Requirements
TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc.
has released four new linear low
noise amplifiers (LNAs) that eliminate
matching components
in a wide range of high-performance
broadband applications
including 3G/4G base station
networks.
TriQuint‘s new low noise amplifiers
are part of a wide-ranging
portfolio created to provide flexible,
highly-efficient linear
solutions for broadband markets
including mobile network base
stations, repeaters, point-to-point
radios, test and other high-performance
applications. Available
in cost-effective standard
surface-mount packages, these
cascadable 50 Ohm low noise
amplifiers consume as little as
50 mA of electrical current and
offer a variety of gain options
from 15-19 dB; all operate on a
single positive power supply (3
V to 5 V) and are unconditionally
stable.
M/A-COM Technology Solutions Introduces
Low Noise Amplifiers for RF and Microwave
Applications
M/A-COM Technology Solutions
Inc. (M/A-COM Tech)
introduced today a new family of
Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs)
for Cellular Infrastructure applications.
The LNAs facilitate
easy implementation in multiple
RF and microwave front-end circuits
including GSM, CDMA,
WCDMA and LTE base stations
and repeaters. The GaAsbased
amplifiers meet the high
performance requirements of
telecommunications equipment
manufacturers optimizing for
minimum system noise figure
and increased receiver sensitivity.
The MAAL-010705 and
MAAL-010706 are highly linear
LNAs with low noise figure,
high gain and excellent input and
output return loss designed for
operation from 0.5 to 1.6 GHz
and 1.4 to 4.0 GHz respectively.
These two amplifiers share the
same pin out and are packaged
in an RoHS compliant leadless
2x2 mm DFN package. The bias
current and gain can be set with
external resistors allowing the
user to customize the current
consumption and gain value to
fit the application. The MAAL-
010704 is a versatile broadband
LNA which operates in the frequency
range 0.1 to 3.5 GHz
and is packaged in SOT-363.
Its bias current can also be set
externally via the use of a resistor.
The LNAs all feature an
integrated active bias circuit
allowing direct connection to
3 V voltage supply while minimizing
variation over temperature
and process.
Micrometer-Tuned Gunn Oscillator
Spacek Labs model GW-920PM is a cost-effective, high
power Gunn oscillator. The center frequency is 92 GHz with
± 1 GHz of mechanical tuning with other frequencies available.
Tuning is accomplished with a finely-graduated micrometer
with locking screw. The output power is 25 mW minimum.
This model incorporates an InP Gunn diode with an
input bias of +10 VDC @ 0.3A typ. Heat is dissipated with
an integrated heatsink.
