The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of India to
Austria & Montenegro and to the International
Organizations in Vienna, Mr.
Subhash P. Gupta and Dr. Ruchi Gupta,
invited to a reception to celebrate the
71st Republic Day of India at the Diplomatic
Academy of Vienna. This holiday
honors the date on which the Constitution
of India came into effect and is
celebrated annually on January 26 with
the daily Republic Day Parade, an award
distribution and official ceremonies.
On the occasion of the National Day of
the Islamic Republic of Iran, also know
as Islamic Revolution Day, Chargé d’Affaires
Hamid Reza Madad invited to a
reception at the premises of the Iranian
Embassy in Vienna. As guest of honor,
Ali Akbar Salehi, Head of the Atomic
Energy Organization of Iran, attended
the event. Together with numerous
guests, among them many Ambassadors,
he celebrated this special day and
enjoyed a great evening.
To celebrate the 60th birthday of His
Imperial Majesty Naruhito on February
23rd , H.E. Akira Mizutani, Ambassador
of Japan and Takeshi Hikihara, Permanent
Representative of Japan to the
International Organizations with his
spouse Hammi Hikihara, invited to a reception
at the Ambassador’s residence
in Vienna‘s 19th district. H.I.M. Naruhito
acceded to the Throne on May 1st 2019
and since then functions as the Emperor
of Japan.
