dnsname The name or <strong>IP</strong> address to be queried.<br />

dnsquery The type of the query to be performed. This can be any<br />

combination, separated by a semicolon (;), of:<br />

CLASS Usually IN for internet, the class of the query<br />

TYPE The type of resource record desired<br />

For example, a request using the URI to resolve www.myCorp.com to an <strong>IP</strong><br />

address might appear as follows:<br />

dns:www.mycorp.com<br />

Additionally, the same request can be sent to the server at 10.1.2.3 on port 5353<br />

using the following:<br />

dns://10.1.2.3:5353/www.mycorp.com<br />

Finally, this same query can be made specifying a CLASS of IN <strong>and</strong> a TYPE of<br />
