commander and his staff refer to Joint Pub 3-02, Joint Doctrine for Amphibious<br />

Operations, for guidance.<br />

112.8 Define the following terms as they apply to deliberate planning:<br />

TPFDD<br />

Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) — The Joint Operation<br />

Planning and Execution System (JOPES) database portion of an operation plan; it<br />

contains time-phased force data, non-unit related cargo and <strong>personnel</strong> data, and<br />

movement data for the operation plan, including the following:<br />

o In-place units<br />

o Units to be deployed to support the operation plan with a priority<br />

indicating the desired sequence for their arrival at the port of debarkation<br />

o Routing of forces to be deployed<br />

o Movement data associated with deploying forces<br />

o Estimates of non-unit-related cargo and <strong>personnel</strong> movements to be<br />

conducted concurrently with the deployment of forces<br />

o Estimate of transportation requirements that must be fulfilled by commonuser<br />

lift resources as well as those requirements that can be fulfilled by<br />

assigned or attached transportation resources.<br />

TPFDD maintenance is conducted by the supported combatant commander in<br />

coordination with the supporting combatant commanders, Service components,<br />

US Transportation Command, and other agencies as required. At designated<br />
