C<strong>au</strong>tion: Plug in a<br />

disconnected adapter<br />

cable.<br />

1 Making sure power is<br />

cut off, install MagSafe<br />

board screws.<br />

2 Test port alignment<br />

by plugging in power<br />

cable from 4 angles.<br />

• If port is off center<br />

and cable does not<br />

seat securely, loosen<br />

MagSafe screws,<br />

realign port with<br />

cable in place, and<br />

secure screws.<br />

• If port seats correctly,<br />

continue.<br />

3 Connect MagSafe<br />

cable to logic board.<br />

4 Install logic board and<br />

remaining parts.<br />

5 With computer fully<br />

assembled, test power<br />

with power cable.<br />
