L. H. J. M' Hill was expelled therefore this House pray your Honours<br />

to concur that those Depositions may be entered in their<br />

proper Place<br />

Sent up to His Excellency and Council by M' John Hodson<br />

and M' John Maclaster<br />

They return and say they delivered the Message.<br />

Soon after Col° Ennalls enters the House and acquainted<br />

M' Speaker that his Excellency and Council will agree the<br />

Depositions against M' Hill be entered in the proper Place in<br />

the Journal so that they be close sealed up not to be opened<br />

till M' Hill's Tryal be over to which this House concurred<br />

Thereupon M' William Bladen Clerk of the Council enters<br />

the House and did in the House close seal up the said Depositions<br />

and ordered to be afifixed in the Journal.<br />

And so M' Bladen withdrew.<br />

The Report ot the Gentlemen appointed to view the Land<br />

Records was again read and the Consideration whereof is<br />

further referred,<br />

p- '47 M' Lloyd being called in he appeared and M' Speaker was<br />

pleased to acquaint him of the Resolve of the House relating<br />

to the Land Records which was that the Secretary for the<br />

Time being should take Care of and preserve all those<br />

Records and Rolls belonging to the Secretary's Office in good<br />

Repair for the future.<br />

And then AT Lloyd withdrew. Col° Ennalls and William<br />

Coursey Esq' enters the House and delivers M' Speaker Bill<br />

for apportioning the publick Levy Indorsed April 14''' 1707<br />

Read the first and second Time in the House of Delegates.<br />

And indorsed in Council. Read the first and second Time<br />

and past with Amendm' W Bladen CI. Co.<br />

Which being again read in the House and do pass with the<br />

Amendment<br />

Sent up to be ingrossed. The ingrossed Bill brought down,<br />

was indorsed<br />

April 14"' 1707 Read and assented to by the House of<br />

Delegates<br />
