The said Bills read again in the House and past for ingrossino-<br />

Bill for securing Persons Rights to Town Lands with the<br />

Amendments proposed by the Council read in the House and<br />

delivered to the Committee of Laws for Amendment Committee<br />

of Laws enter the House and deliver M' Speaker Ingrossed<br />

Bill for more speedy conveying publick Letters Read and<br />

Ordered to be indorsed 2^^ Nov. 1710 Read and assented to<br />

by the House of Delegates<br />

All the ingrossed Bills sent to the Honble Council for their<br />

Assent by Col° Smith and M' Salter. They return and say<br />

they delivered the Bills<br />

Speaker the Journal of the Committee of Accounts for<br />

Amendment<br />

The Journal amended and sent to the Honble Council by<br />

I\P Philips, NT Hill, M' Bradford and M^ Bordley with the<br />

following Message.<br />

By the House of Delegates 2"'' November 1710<br />

The House have appointed M' Philips, M' Hill, M' Bradford<br />

and JSP Bordley Members of this House to join in Committee<br />

with some of the Members of her Majesty's Honble Council to<br />

apportion the publick Levy and pray your Honours Concurrence<br />

The Gentlemen return and say they delivered the Journal<br />

and Message.<br />

Upon reading M' William Taylard's Petition recommended<br />

from the Honble Council praying an Allowance for copying<br />

the last Journals of the last Session sent for England<br />

Resolved That the Petitioner was not obliged as he was<br />

Clerk of this House to transcribe any Journals of this House<br />

to go to England. But the Law obliges him to return one to<br />

the Secretarys who is the proper Person to transcribe the<br />

Journals and the Intent and Meaning of making that Act was<br />

to ease the Country of paying for Copies : And that this House<br />

Resolve That the Country ought not to be burthened with the<br />

Charge but the Secretary ought to pay the Petitioner<br />

The House adjourned till to Morrow Morning Nine O'Clock
