Moved that a Bill may be brought in for building a Court p- =75<br />

House in Talbot County at the Head of Treadhaven. Debated<br />

and put to the Question whether a Court shall be built near<br />

Pitt's Bridge or Oxford? Carryed by the Majority of Votes<br />

near Pitt's Bridge. Resolved a Bill be brought in for that<br />

Resolved a Bill be brought in to continue Queen Ann's<br />

County Court House at Queen's Town where it now stands<br />

Moved that the Vote relating to Baltimore County Court<br />

House may be reassumed Put to the Question v/hether the<br />

Vote be resumed or not ? Carryed by Majority of one Vote in<br />

the Affirmative.<br />

M'John Gresham Sheriff of Ann Arundel County according<br />

to Order appeared at the Bar of this House and M' Speaker<br />

acquainted him with the Order of the House relating to Edmondson<br />

as follows.<br />

Upon Complaint to this House that Thomas Edmondson a<br />

Servant to the Members of this House for Talbot County was<br />

arrested by the Sheriff of Ann Arundel County by Virtue of a<br />

Capias ad respondendum issued out of Ann Arundel County<br />

Court adss Thomas Macnemara in Breach of the Privilege of<br />

this House It's Ordered that the Sheriff immediately discharge<br />

the said Thomas Edmondson from the said Arrest or any other<br />

he now lies under without taking any Fees or Reward there-<br />

for whereof he is not to fail as he will answer the contrary to<br />

this House
