By the Committee of Aggrievances December (f" 1708. l. h.<br />

It's humbly offered to this Committee as an Aggrievance<br />

that since the making the Act of Assembly prohibiting the<br />

Importation of Bread Beer S:''' it's found by the Inhabitants<br />

of this Province to be very pernicious and great Discouragement<br />

to Trade All which is humbly referred by the Committee<br />

as an Aggrievance to the Honble House of Delegates and<br />

that they will consider of the said Act that the said Aggrievance<br />

may be relieved if to them seems meet<br />

Read in the House and allowed to be an Aggrievance and p- 19°<br />

ordered the Committee of Laws prepare a Bill to repeal the<br />

said Act<br />

Col° Holland and Col" Coursey from the Honble Council<br />

enter the House & deliver M' Speaker Bill confirming and<br />

explaining the Charter of the City of Annapolis Indorsed<br />

By the Council in Assembly December lo"" 1708<br />

Read the first and second Times and will pass with the<br />

Amendments proposed<br />

And Richard Bickerdick's Petition praying some further<br />

Allowance for laying the Church with Flag Stones, which<br />

was read and ordered the Committee of Accounts allow him<br />

five Pounds more than what was paid him by Samuel Young<br />

Esq' publick Treasurer to make the whole fifteen Pounds<br />

Sterling<br />

Resolved that Col° Blackiston continue no longer Agent<br />

and that his Attorney here have Notice thereof.<br />

Ordered That all Committees withdraw on their Business.<br />

Bill declaring several Acts formerly made to be in force<br />

Ordered to be indorsed<br />

By the House of Delegates December 10"' 1708<br />

This House humbly desire his Excellency considering the<br />

Season of the Year and Badness of weather to let this Bill<br />

pass as proposed without making seperate Bills to revive all<br />

the within mentioned Acts that will expire this Session<br />
