one Barrel Small Shot, 2 Barrels of Bullets, one Paper of Flints<br />

and Worms, ten Halberts, one Trumpet, 8 Cutlasses.<br />

To Dorchester County 18 Musquets, 8 Carabines, 2 Drums,<br />

8 Cartouch Boxes, 8 Cutlasses 2 Barrels Powder, one Barrel<br />

of small Shot, 2 Barrels of Bullets, one Paper of Flints and<br />

Worms, ten Halberts, one Trumpet. And likewise that they<br />

find in the Hands of Captain Charles Kilbourn delivered by<br />

his Excellency's Order for the Use of the Company belonging<br />

to the City of Annapolis 40 Musquets, one Drum, 40 Cartouch<br />

Boxes, one Barrel of Powder, one Barrel Small Shot, 3 Halberts,<br />

6 Bayonets.<br />

All which said Arms appear to be lodged and delivered by<br />

Accounts thereof<br />

And they also report That the Arms in Possession of Capt<br />

Charles Kilbourn are very rusty and much out of Order and<br />

that he refuses to clean them, altho' by his Receipt, under<br />

Hand and Seal, he is obliged so to do as by the said Receipt<br />

it may appear And further they find that several other Parcels<br />

of Arms and Ammunition has been imported into this Province<br />

as by an Article in an Account of I\P George Plater's deceased,<br />

late Receiver of Patuxent District.<br />

It appears to the Value of ^547-3-6 paid to M' Micajah<br />

Perry Merchant in London by Order of the Council for which<br />

said Parcels of Arms we find no Receipts nor how the said<br />

Arms have been disposed of we can give no direct Account<br />

but suppose them to be Part of the Arms and Ammunition<br />

now found by the said Committee in the Hands of Capt. John<br />

Young. And as to the 3"^ p Hhd for Arms we have not the<br />

Accounts from her Majesty's Receiver General cannot report<br />

how the same has been disposed of but humbly move an Order<br />

may issue from this House to cause M' John Rousby her<br />

Majesty's present Receiver to appear at the next Session of<br />

Assembly to bring in all such Books and Papers relating to<br />

the 3'' p Hhd. as belonged to M' George Plater deceased late<br />

Receiver and to render an Account how the same has been<br />

disposed of since he has been Receiver that then it may appear<br />

how the said Money has been appropriated And turther do<br />

report that there come to our Hands an Account of M' John<br />

Rousby 's commencing from the third Day of April 1 707 to the<br />

third Day of April 1709 being for the 3'' p Hhd for Arms.<br />

That in that Time there has been reported out of this Province
