Speaker the ingrossed Bill for apportioning the publick Levy<br />

Indorsed in Council April 14''' 1707<br />

Read and assented to by her Majesty's Honble Council.<br />

The House adjourns till to Morrow Morning seven O' Clock.<br />

Tuesday April 15'^ 1707<br />

The House met again according to Adjournment<br />

Being called over were all present as Yesterday.<br />

Read what was done yesterday<br />

Bill to prevent the Inhabitants of Annapolis from raising and<br />

keeping Horses &" in the Town Pasture Indorsed in Council,<br />

By the Council in Assembly April 14"' 1707 Upon reading<br />

this Bill it's approved of and will pass with the following<br />

Amendments Viz.<br />

That every qualified Ordinary keeper keep three Horse and<br />

four Calves but no Sheep Pigs or Goats but what are in Pens<br />

or Styes and every Owner of an improved Lot to keep two<br />

Calves (or every such Lot and one Horse.<br />

Which being read and debated it's ordered the same be<br />

rejected.<br />

Ordered the Treasurer procure a new Flag, for which he is<br />

to have an Allowance out of publick Stock.<br />

Moved by a Member whether it be not for the Conveniency<br />

of the Country to repair the Town Gate and Fence The<br />

House having debated the same and thinks it of no Conveniency.<br />

Therefore Resolved this House will take no further<br />

Care of such Repairs.<br />

The Address to her Majesty for her gracious Order to lay p.<br />

out the Bounds of Maryland and Pensylvania, brought in<br />

which was read and approved of<br />

Ordered That Major Nicholas Lowe, Capt. Richard Jones,<br />

M' William Stone, A? Richard Colegate, M' John Hodson, M'<br />

John Maclaster, M' Robert Tyler, and M' John Mackall, carry<br />

up the said Address to his Excellency and Council for their<br />

Approbation<br />

Col° Holland, Col" Ennalls and William Coursey Esq' enters<br />

the House and delivers M' Speaker the said Address and<br />

desired there might be Duplicates of it. Which being done<br />

the same was again sent up to his Excellency & Council by<br />

M' James Maxwell.
