Gentlem. Several Acts of Assembly of this Province to<br />

wit an Act of Assembly of this<br />

Debtors &c<br />

Province for relief of poor<br />

An Act for ascertaining the Damages on protested Bills of<br />

Exchange and three Laws for erecting Towns &c. having been<br />

lately transmitted to her most Sacred Majesty & her disapprobation<br />

thereof Signifyed to us pursuant thereto Proclamations<br />

have issued from this Board to notify the Repeale of the said<br />

Laws and we herewith send you the three several Orders of<br />

her Majesty in Council directing the same for your Inspection<br />

and perusal. Also the right Honble the Lords of Trade and<br />

Plantations Letter of the i6th of January last having some<br />

reladon thereto with her Majesty's Order in Council confirming<br />

a former order for running out the Boundarys between this<br />

Province and the three Countys annexed to Pensilvania on the<br />

West side of Delaware Bay and dismissal of the Lord Baltimores<br />

petition and being obliged as you may see by the af"*<br />

Directions of the Right honble the Lords of Trade and Plantations<br />

(especially at this time of your meeting to assess the<br />

publick Charge) particularly to offer to your Consideration to p- ^59<br />

assign a Suitable reward and recompense for the Services of<br />

the honble the Itinerant Justices and their Trouble and Expences<br />

in going the several Circuits and holding Assizes in<br />

the respective Countys<br />

We heartily recommend the same to you that those Gentlemen<br />

who have served by Command of the Governm' here may<br />

not seem to be wholly forgotten if not Slighted by us<br />

The Petition of Doctor Christian Swormstead of Calvert<br />

County (with a Certificate of his having taken the Oaths of<br />

Allegiance &c) read praying an Act may pass for his naturalization,<br />

was read at the Board & recommended to the House<br />

of Delegates to give leave to bring in a Bill therefore<br />

The Pedtion of the Vestry in Westminster Parish in Ann<br />

Arund County read praying that Philip Jones may be licenced<br />

and approved of by the President and Council to be their<br />

Reader. Was granted & the same Philip Jones approved of<br />

and Licenced to officiate as such he first taking the Oaths<br />

required by Law<br />

The Board adjourned until nine of the Clock to morrow<br />

morning
