here and no Person appearing to prosecute any Complaint<br />

against him he is by this<br />

The petition of John Edgerton a poor Prisoner being here<br />

read is referred for further Consideration. The Petition of<br />

Isaac Dixon and Peter Harwood read and referred for further<br />

Consideration till to Morrow Morning<br />

p. 217 The Petition of Dom. Kingslaugh read in the<br />

referred till further Consideration.<br />

House and<br />

Moved by a Member that forasmuch as M' Wornell Hunt<br />

not being an Inhabitant of this Province three years before he<br />

was elected a Member to serve for the City of Annapolis<br />

therefore is not qualified to sit in this House<br />

Which being argued and debated in the House, it is put to<br />

the Question whether the said M'' Hunt is qualified or not?<br />

Carryed in the Negative and is thereby disabled from sitting.<br />

Ordered That M' Hunt be called into the House.<br />

He appeared, and M' Speaker was pleased to acquaint him<br />

of the Vote of the House. M"^ Hunt took his Leave and de-<br />

parted. And Ordered That M' Speaker issue his Warrant to<br />

the Sheriff for a new Writ to go out, directed to the Mayor of<br />

the said City &" to make an Election of a new Member to<br />

serve in the Room of said M' Wornell Hunt<br />

Col° Thomas Ennalls, and Col" Charles Greenberry enters<br />

the House and delivers to M' Speaker a Copy of a Paragraph<br />

of the Lords of Com" of Trade and Plantations Lres relating<br />

to Copper Coin and other Matters relating to some Laws of<br />

Carolina.<br />

After reading it's Ordered the same be recommended to the<br />

Committee of Laws requiring them to inspect the same and<br />

make Answer thereto, ready to be laid before the House to<br />

Morrow Morning for further Consideration<br />

The Petition of some Inhabitants of Calvert County.<br />

The Petition of some Inhabitants of Talbot County<br />

Petition of Kent County all for Towns being read is referred<br />

to the Consideration of the next Session of Assembly.<br />
