Data in the last two columns of the <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT - LOINC Integration table are derived directly from the<br />

<strong>SNOMED</strong> CT Concepts Table:<br />

Relationship_Type = Concept Identifier (ConceptId) from the <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT Concepts table; defines the<br />

relationship between the LOINC name and the target <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT concept.<br />

ConceptId = target <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT Concept from the <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT Concepts table<br />

The <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT - LOINC integration table may be better visualized with the following figure, where the<br />

<strong>SNOMED</strong> CT Identifiers in the last two columns are replaced with their corresponding <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT description.<br />

The table below is an example of <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT - LOINC integration with <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT ConceptIds in last<br />

two columns replaced with the <strong>SNOMED</strong> CT description. Underlined cells highlight the part of the LOINC<br />

fully specified name that is being mapped in each row.<br />
