ReferencedId Table 173: - References Table Key Fields ReferencedId Field Type SCTID Alternative Moved to Moved from Refers to Permitted characters 0 to 9 The unique SNOMED Clinical Terms Identifier for the referenced component. Refers to one of several alternatives that are similar or equivalent to the component (e.g. where a single component is replaced by two more narrowly defined components). Refers to the Concept identifying the target Namespace to which a component has been moved (Status value Moved Elsewhere or is scheduled to be moved (Status value Pending Move). Refers to an original component in another Namespace which is the source of this current component. Concept Refers to a Concept which is correctly described by the Term of an inactive Description. Length 6 to 18 The component identified by the ReferencedId must be an instance of the same class of component as the component identified by the ComponentId, with two exceptions. 1. If the ReferenceType value is "5" (Moved to) or "6" (Moved from), ReferencedId must identify the namespace Concept of the namespace that the component has been moved to or moved from. This approach is used since the organization sourcing the component may not always be able to determine the precise reference that is applicable in the receiving organization (namespace). Thus the responsibility for these references lies with the new responsible (receiving) organization . 2. If the ReferenceType value is "7" (Refers to Concept), then the ComponentId must identify a Description and ReferencedIdmust identify a Concept. 3.2.9.7. Release Format 1 is represents a snapshot view which captures is less completely aligned with the logical model. However, as the tables illustrate all the information represented by RF1 can be fully captured in the RF2 representation.
