Perithecia subglobose-ellipsoidal, up to 0.5 mm in length, dark
with beak, immersed to later partially free. Asci (aeeording to KOHL­
MEYER & KOHLMEYER 1964-69) 8-spored, unitunieate, elavate. Aseospor
es 2-eelled, hyaline, 24-26 X 8-10,u with slime eovering and
terminal gelatinous appendages (Fig. 3d ) .
Frequent in wood from water's edge and in the white dune. Previous
Danish find by HOHNK (1955) .

Perithecia globose, about 0.5 mm in diameter, dark with beak,
immersed to later partially free. Asei 8-spored, ela vate, pointed,
unitunieate, 104-1 28 X 22-28 u , Aseospores 2-eelled, hyaline, 20-32 X
12 u , with lateral and terminal appendages (Fig.3e).
On reeently washed-up wood.
