side of a hypha, ovate-subglobose, thich-walled and warted, 4-6 /-l<br />

diam. subtended by a clamp. Stephanocyst-like cells produced apically<br />

or at the side of subhymenial hyphae, echinulate, sporelike when<br />

loosened.<br />
