(191.) — A boiler exploded on July 8th in Russell's crea»nery at Barker's Corners,<br />
about five miles north of Janesville, Wis. Nobody was injured, although the roof of the<br />
building was blown oil and the machinery was badly damaged. William Boetchker,<br />
who operated the creamery, lived in a part of the building almost directly over the<br />
boiler room; but, fortunately, nobody was in his rooms at the time.<br />
(192.) — A boiler exploded on July 10th in Spottsylvania county, Va., and Mrs. L. 1!.<br />
Mills was badly scalded. We have not learned further particulars.<br />

(193) — A threshing machine boiler exploded on July 10th at Muse's Fork, Westmoreland<br />
county, Va. Engineer T. O. Atwell and fireman Ryland Sanford were seriously<br />
injured. Some of the fragments of the boiler were thrown :>00 yards.<br />
(194.) — Henry Altzatder was severely scalded on July 11th by the failure of a tube<br />
on a locomotive belonging to the Pennsylvania railroad, near Menlo Park, N. J.<br />
(195.) — On July 11th a boiler exploded in the Catholic University at Georgetown,<br />
D. C. Fireman Frank Popp was severely burned over the entire body; and while his<br />
recovery is expected, at last reports he was still in a very critical condition.<br />
(196.) — A boiler exploded on July 12th in the Sample Lumber Company's mill at<br />
Hollins, some fifty miles east of Birmingham, Ala, Fireman James Lane was killed, and
