decided at what level you will participate in the life of truth...and you begin to live. You no
longer struggle with the question of right or wrong and are no longer preoccupied with
consequences. There is an inner confidence that has come from the lessons learned at
previous stops on the journey. Increasingly smaller and simpler things in your objective
reality begin to reveal increasingly grander lessons, as you literally fall in love with every
being, every thing in your physical reality, your tangible universe.
Position 17—Governed by The Star
Here the Mental Plane reaches Stage Six (Higher Emotional) and you should begin to
consciously know many things that your heart has known for quite awhile. This position is
the resolution of things begun in position 15 and moderated by the Divine in position 16.
This is the mind in the mid-future. The mind pushes and motivates. This is what you want
to be doing to feel good about yourself, your vision of potential accomplishment. You
become ambitious and are beginning to get very emotional about your achievements. ,You
want to feel that you have made a difference. This is the ego level mixed with compassion.
You see “causes” and dedication. You begin to take stock of your progress to date. If all
goes well, you begin to see with the help of the Third Eye. The card of influence is The Star,
indicative of the fireworks the heart creates as it lights a fire under the conscious mind; but
underlying this apparent explosion of thought is a new order and stability of selflessness
setting the tone for the rest of the journey. The ego is bigger than ever, but it is more
mature and dedicated to the even bigger picture that has been revealed. You can no longer
think in the vacuum of the personal ego. The mind presses forward with a sense of service
and duty. One of the major pitfalls here is a sense of self-righteousness.
Position 18—Governed by The Moon
Here the Emotional Plane reaches Stage Six (Higher Emotional) and your emotions
grow up. You are emotional but with a higher love and wisdom. Self-gratification is mature
and altruistic. This is emotion in the mid-future. You begin to feel with the help of the
Third Eye. The card of influence is The Moon, and you see the results of feeling things
deeply. Deep creativity surfaces. Just as you were able to see the potential pitfall of too
much thinking in position 15, here you must be aware of the pitfall of too much emotion.
Position 19—Governed by The Sun
Here the Physical Plane enters Stage Six (Higher Emotional) and represents the transition
to Stage Seven (Higher Physical). It is the shift from your mid-future to your longterm
future. The card of influence is The Sun, which ends the lessons begun by the Tower
in position 16 by shining so brightly that you can no longer bear to look outward and
upward. You can no longer direct your energies toward the deep emotional interaction
with the tangible universe. So you look inward (the true “upward”), and there The Sun is
blazing brighter than you have ever seen before. Somehow, even though The Sun is so
brilliant, you can see perfectly, for here its light is not rejected (reflected) by what it falls
