UPRIGHT: The near future sees you able to slow down in your spiritual affairs, to enjoy where you
are for awhile. Others around you, especially your antagonists and fellow players may not be happy
with your new schedule. Patience, they will wait. They need you as much as you need them. IN-
VERTED: This may be a forced break that you are left with, rather than one chosen. One or more of
your key spiritual playmates has taken a short respite for some reason or other.
15 GOVERNED BY THE DEVIL: TEMPTATION/CHALLENGE, FEARS
UPRIGHT: Delays may present themselves as moral dilemmas. Let this push you to higher standards.
Doing good must be hard, right? Wrong! INVERTED: You may fear whether you can be good
enough as your mind comes down on the side that sees how difficult a challenge true comprehension
and authentic expression can be. But rest assured, there is another side where these will come
to you with ease. Let the pendulum of your mind complete its swing through the difficult side.

UPRIGHT: The gift here is time, a freedom from the need to make major choices at the moment.
But use the interim from pressure to reorder your priorities. That, however, does call for many
smaller decisions. INVERTED: A spiritual housecleaning to clear away loose ends, clean out the
cobwebs, to order your notes, put old and tired theories to rest once and for all. You can no longer
carry the extra luggage of outworn clothes just to make yourself feel like you have a great wardrobe.

UPRIGHT: More than spiritual resolution and absolutism, you aspire to the excitement of the
crusade itself. You are tireless in your ongoing pursuit, looking everywhere you can comprehend,
listening anywhere bright opinions are voiced, and talking whenever someone worthy will listen.
INVERTED: You may enjoy the struggle too much itself, becoming like the crusader who was gone
so long from home that he lost touch of what he was fighting for. There may be the willingness to
fight for society, but an unwillingness to actually join it yourself, to give up the necessary freedom.
Another distortion here is the reverse, to want to avoid the conflict at all costs, an unwillingness to
witness any of the pain.

UPRIGHT: Here, your heart’s passion must widen to include the breadth of God’s will without
putting out the heroic flame of your own free will. INVERTED: The heart struggles here, for it wants
so much to be one with universal love, and yet it yearns to be the free and independent spirit as well.
It will not be resolved that easily for that is the paradox of the path itself. Much of what the heart
provides energy and motivation to fight for are things from which it wishes to keep its own distance.

UPRIGHT: Fiercely strong and plucky, capable of mixing it up and making things happen all the
way through. No one may really know much about the real you, especially your physical and
material affairs. If you don’t leave a well-documented will, they will never know. INVERTED:
Perhaps you didn’t need to fight as much as you did, but then you really would not have had it any
other way.

UPRIGHT: Even those closest to you will know that they have not been with the whole you, for
much of you was in the heavens even while here on earth. INVERTED: Much of the work in the
major relationships of this lifetime may be left to the very end. It is much harder that way, but then
perhaps it is your way. Creative messages may be tangled, incomplete.

UPRIGHT: You did what you had to do. Yours was a mission meant only for you and you accepted it.
You have worked hard to leave a good and accurate record so that others will not have to go through
all that you did. INVERTED: You may still be defining just what that mission was, even as it is finished.
