play. A positive presence. You seem to know how to balance things in your Physical/Material plane,
and to keep it in check with your Emotional and Mental planes. INVERTED: You may be prone to
extremes in matters of health, business, and other material matters.
2 GOVERNED BY THE HIGH PRIESTESS: EMOTIONAL GIVENS, OUT OF THE MOTHER
UPRIGHT: You are by nature a relaxed and easy-going person that people like to be around, as your
cool seems to rub off on them. A healing presence. You know how to keep things flowing smoothly
in your Emotional/Creative Plane, using energy for productive purposes rather than in putting out
forest fires. INVERTED: You may be overly sensitive, easily swayed, or intemperate in your emotional

There was great strength here but it rarely had to bare its teeth. INVERTED: At one extreme, there was
intemperance and imbalance took its toll, with irrational mood swings and self-indulgent behavior
from irresponsible adults. At the other extreme, there was too much temperance and where there is
not temper there is no fire, no progress. That is where temptation enters the picture. We are not
allowed to be so content that we are complacent. The trick is to be happy but not blithely content.
