The results of 18 cases fr-oi the 10 quantitative studies are reported<br />
in Tables 50-53. With only a few exceptions, the specified nodels explain<br />
a large proportion of the variation in rural saving. A nunber of regression<br />
coefficients associated with the various explanatory variables are<br />
statistically significant. These tables also show the relative iinportance of<br />
price and nonprice factors in influencing rural and econony-wide saving.<br />
