WORKING THROUGH THE COURSE This course expects you to spend a lot of time to read it. You need to spend more time to study the contents of the material so as to be able to justify the effort that has been put into its development in order to make it readable. You are hereby advised to attend the tutorial sessions where you will meet with your mates for the purpose of comparing knowledge gained from the material. TUTOR - MARKED ASSIGNMENT The tutor marked assignment is the continuous assessment component of your course. It carries 30 percent of the total score. Each unit has a Tutor Marked 4
Assignment. You are going to be given some Tutor-Marked Assignments to attempt. Three out of these must be attempted before you will be allowed to sit for the end of course examination. The Tutor - Marked Assignment will be given to you by your facilitator and they must be returned after you have attempted them. END OF COURSE EXAMINATION Examination concludes the assessment for the course, it accounts for about 60 percent of the whole course, you will be told about the time for the examination.
