Setting Aside Memorandum Circular Number 98-028
The Department of Transportation and Communications in its updated survey, found
that the PUJ route Alabang-GMA via South Expressway, Carmona Exit, is in need of and
may be opened for an additional twenty (20) units of PUJ. This is contained in its Memorandum
dated October 11, 2001 signed by the Undersecretary for Transportation Arturo T. Valdez.
In view thereof, the Memorandum Circular No. 98-028 is hereby superseded and setaside,
and the aforecited route is open for application for twenty (20) units only of Public
Utility Jitney service.

Memorandum Circular No. 2002-002
Extension of Memorandum Circular No. 2001-003
(Late Filing of Petition for Extension of Validity)
In response to numerous motions filed with the Board to allow late filing of petition for
extension of validity despite the lapse of the effectivity of Memorandum Circular No. 2001-
003 (Allowing Late Filing of Petition for Extension of Validity until December 31, 2001), the
Board hereby resolves to extend the effectivity of said circular until April 30, 2002,
subject to the same conditions and restrictions found therein.
All other issuances or parts thereof which are inconsistent herewith, are therefore
modified or superseded accordingly to conform with this new circular.
