1. Coordinate <strong>the</strong> classification <strong>of</strong> GOCCs with <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r Oversight Agencies according to<br />

financial and sectoral groupings relative to <strong>the</strong> formulation <strong>of</strong> differential treatment <strong>of</strong><br />

GOCCs by Oversight Agencies;<br />

2. Recommend to <strong>the</strong> President financial sanctions, restrictions and controls on GOCCsí<br />

non-compliance with <strong>the</strong> PES and ICRS such as, but not limited to, withholding <strong>of</strong> budgetary<br />

releases; and<br />

3. Review and evaluate conversion into equity <strong>of</strong> loans previously extended by a GOCC to a<br />

private corporation which will result in majority ownership by GOCC.<br />

SEC. 3. The Department <strong>of</strong> Finance shall issue <strong>the</strong> necessary implementing guidelines<br />

<strong>of</strong> this Order.<br />

SEC. 4. All orders, administrative issuances, rules and regulations or parts <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong><br />

inconsistent with this Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.<br />

SEC. 5. This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately upon approval.<br />

Executive Order No. 58<br />

Authorizing <strong>the</strong> National Power Corporation to Dispose<br />

<strong>of</strong> its 1.6 Hectare property Located in Sitio Pajo, Baesa,<br />

Quezon City to its Bonafide Occupants<br />

WHEREAS, in line with <strong>the</strong> priority concern <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> present Administration to provide<br />

housing to deserving landless and homeless families and ensure security <strong>of</strong> tenure <strong>of</strong> informal<br />

settler families occupying government lands which are no longer utilized for its intended<br />

purposes;<br />

WHEREAS, <strong>the</strong> National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) owns a property in Sitio<br />

Pajo, barangay Baesa, Quezon City consisting <strong>of</strong> 1.6 hectares covered by TCT No. 65721,<br />

which is being occupied by more or less 300 informal settler faamilies;<br />

WHEREAS, <strong>the</strong> NAPOCOR has expressed its intention to segregate and dispose <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong>se properties to its present bonafide occupants under <strong>the</strong> socialized housing program <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> government, as indicated in Resolution No. 99-03 <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> NAPOCOR Board;
