be of value on the Ancona ?<br />

There are none that I know of.<br />

21st Interrogatory. Did you see a flag on submarine<br />

and, if so, describe the flag.<br />

I could see a red and white flag on submarine but<br />

can not describe the flag.<br />

22d Interrogatory. Is there anything else relating to<br />

the destruction of the Ancona you wish to state ?<br />

No, I believe my statement as to what I saw is complete.<br />

Be it known that on^this thirtieth day of November<br />

before me, Jay White, consul of the United States of<br />

America in and for the city and District of Naples, Italy,<br />

residing in the city of Naples, duly commissioned and<br />

sworn and by law authorized to administer oaths and<br />

affirmations, personally appeared Irlando Potalivo (or<br />

Potativo) now residing at Sailor's Rest, Naples, Province<br />

of Naples, Kingdom of Italy, whose home address is<br />

Montenero di Bisaccia, Prav. di Campobasso, Italy, and<br />

Philadelphia, United States of America, and being by<br />

me duly sworn did depose and say:<br />

I was born at Montenero di Bisaccia, date, June 16,<br />

1898, that my father's name is Alessandro Patalivo, that<br />

he was bom ..._•.. and that I am a native (or naturalized)<br />

Naturalized.<br />

I embarked on the S. S. Ancona at Naples, Italy; on<br />

the 5th day of November, 1915.<br />

Question No. 4- H you were on deck, did you have a<br />

clear vision of the submarine?<br />
