The Eikendal Classique is a wine that always
entices the senses. Sweet, ripe black and
red fruit abound, followed by slight spice
and typical earthy, mineral characters. It
grips the palate with fine, silky tannins. This
wine typifies what Eikendal is all about – it
is a classy, understated red wine with
staying power.
Fleur du Cap
Inspired by nature and shaped by the Cape
Floral Kingdom, Fleur du Cap wines are
handcrafted with minimal interference at
The Bergkelder by dedicated winemakers
Pieter Badenhorst and Justin Corrans,
and cellarmaster Andrea Freeborough.
Founded in 1967, this famous ‘cellar in
the mountain’, situated on the slopes
of the Papegaaiberg on the outskirts of
Stellenbosch, was the first of its kind in
South Africa and pioneered many new
innovations such as maturation in new
small oak barrels.
