Entering I, J, K in relative values<br />

If you enter the circle center with relative coordinates,<br />

you have defined it relative to the last<br />

programmed tool position.<br />

• The circle center I, J, K also serves as pole for polar coordinates.<br />

• I, J, K defines a position as a circle center. The resulting contour is located on the circle, not on the circle<br />

center.<br />

To program a circle center (pole):<br />

Resulting NC block: I+20 J–10 *<br />

Select the coordinate axis for the circle center.<br />

Enter the coordinate for the circle center on this axis, for example<br />

I = 20 mm.<br />

Select the second coordinate axis, for example J.<br />

Enter the coordinate of the circle center, for example J = –10 mm.<br />
