• Major portion of Capital Expenditure is on Drainage which is about 35 % of the total<br />

capital expenditure except in the year 2003-04 during which no expenditure was<br />

incurred<br />

• The capital expenditure includes very heavy payment to meet the revolving fund<br />

repayment obligation. In the absence of surplus funds received from Tenth Finance<br />

Commission have been used for the purpose<br />

Having analysed the composition and absolute value of income by way of tax and non-tax<br />

revenue, we have analysed the collection efficiency of ANN for the tax and non-tax revenue<br />

over the last three years. The position emerging from the analysis is as follows:
