4.0 SCOPE OF SUPPLY<br />
4.1 Material to be supplied by the Owner as Free-Issue<br />
4.1.1 Owner shall make available to the contractor , the following bare line pipes , for<br />
application of External 3-layer Side Extruded Polyethylene Coating , at owner’s<br />
designated place(s) of issue at an appropriate time during execution stage.<br />

4.2 Materials to be supplied by the Contractor<br />
Contractor shall be responsible for the procurement and supply, in sequence and at<br />
the appropriate time, of all materials including corrosion coating materials, repair<br />
materials , all accessories , consumables and utilities required for completion of the<br />
works as defined in this document except the Owner supplied materials specifically<br />
listed under para 4.1 above as Owner’s free-issue material. The rates quoted for the<br />
execution of the work shall be inclusive of supply of these materials. All materials<br />
supplied by the Contractor shall be strictly in accordance with the requirements of<br />
applicable Owner’s specification enclosed with the tender document. Contractor shall<br />
procure all coating material only from manufacturers as mentioned in tender<br />
document.<br />
Material to be supplied by the Contractor shall include but not limited to the following:<br />
(i) All materials and equipment required for repair, rebevelling and / or cutting<br />
out of defects of bare pipes.<br />
(ii) All consumables, equipment required for surface cleaning / preparation etc.<br />
including chemical treatment.<br />
(iii) All materials, equipment, consumables as required for external 3-layer side<br />
extruded polyethylene coating of Pipes.<br />
(iv) All materials and equipment required for conducting all types of inspection<br />
and tests including non destructive testing of pipes after rebevelling/grinding<br />
(v) All materials and equipment required for repairing of defects of coated pipes<br />
and thereafter retesting.<br />
(vi) All equipment, materials, tools, tackles, devices required for loading,<br />
transportation, hauling, handling, unloading, stacking, and storage of bare /<br />
coated pipes including sand for pipe stacking.<br />
(vii) Any other items not mentioned above but are required for timely completion<br />
of work in all respect.<br />
