1318 - H&G June 16; adv: 2/5 - Attention Greys. You are requested to meet
at the Cleveland House on Monday evening 18th inst. at 1/2 past 7 o'clock.

1319 - H&G July 14:2/3 - Attention Greys. You are hereby ordered to meet
at the Armory Military Hall, Ontario St., on Mondays and Fridays at 3
o'clock, P.M. until further orders. Per order D. W. Cross, Clerk. (1)
H&G Aug. 28: 2/4 - See Deaths
1320 - H&G Nov. 29; ed:2/2 - The Cleveland Greys. A fine independent
corps, Captain Ingraham, Lieutenents Sanford, Russell, and Gillett gave
our citizens a most agreeable surprise this forenoon with their neat,
tasty uniforms, precise military evolutions, and correct soldier-like
bearing. The work of raising the corps was so quietly done but few
citizens knew of its organization until called upon to admire the warbreathing
notes of this excellent band of Greys.
"Beautiful! - Fine! - Splendid! - Just the thing for Cleveland! - Fill
up the ranks! were exclamations made by everyone.
"Yes, success to the Greys! They deserve it." (3)
1321 - H&G Dec. 4; adv:2/5 - Attention Greys! Company Orders - You are
ordered to appear at the Armory every Monday at half past 6 o'clock, with
Muskets and side-arms, for drill until further notice. You are also hereby
notified that the armory will be open for squad drills every evening
(Sunday's excepted) during the winter, commencing Dec. 10th. Per order
