<strong>The</strong> Combined Baccalaureate/Master’s Degree student will be expected to complete his/her<br />

baccalaureate degree no later than the semester in which he/she completes the master’s degree.<br />

Often, the student entering the combined Baccalaureate/Master’s Degree program will complete<br />

both programs during a five-year time period.<br />

GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS<br />

Approximately 60 graduate assistantships are available each year. Students awarded<br />

assistantships receive stipends and are entitled to tuition scholarships.<br />

Applicants for graduate assistantships must have an Application for Admission form<br />

on file in the Graduate School Office. Applications for graduate assistantships must be<br />

submitted by March 1. Awards are made on the basis <strong>of</strong> the student’s academic record,<br />

experience and promise as a graduate student. International students are not eligible for<br />

graduate assistantships in their first semester.<br />

Graduate students can also apply for Guaranteed Student Loans (GSL) and Federal<br />

Work-Study.<br />

SCHEDULING<br />

Most classes are <strong>of</strong>fered from 4:30 p.m. - 7:10 p.m., and 7:20 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.,<br />

Monday through Thursday in the fall and spring terms. Almost all courses meet one night<br />

per week. Summer and intersession classes are also available.<br />
