JANE KOPAS WOMEN’S CENTER
The Jane Kopas Women’s Center fosters a campus community in which women and
men can live in a climate of mutual respect, understanding and equality, and where women
are encouraged to reach their fullest potential. It provides a safe, comfortable and educational
environment in which students, faculty, staff and members of the community can
learn about the current and historical role of women in society and where they can explore
issues of gender equality, diversity and social justice.
Both women and men are encouraged to attend the Center’s co-curricular programs on
gender and diversity issues and to use its resource center for courses, special projects or
personal enrichment. Books, periodicals, videos, tapes, internet access, and informational
