Default archive You can set default archive on multiple users simultaneously using the ‘Set Default Archive’ under users’ context menu. This menu launches a dialog that allows selection of groups and archives. Once a group is selected, the bottom list displays the users that are members of that group. You can select an archive to be the default archive for members of that group in two ways: • Update all users that do not have a default archive set. • Update all users’ default archive. 104 FotoWare
Changing settings of multiple users In systems with large user databases, it can be a tedious task to apply basic settings on a large group of users. FotoWeb has implemented an option to modify basic settings for multiple users trough a single interface. The menu launches a dialog box that allows modifying settings for an entire group at a time. Once a group is selected, a counter will display number of users that will be affected by the changes. The settings check boxes on this interface are tri-state that represents the following: • Selected and active: All the users have this setting or will be assigned this setting. • Selected and inactive: All the users do not have the same setting or this setting will not be modified for any user. • Unselected: None of the users have this setting or this setting will be removed for all users.
