Database User Set up the account in the SQL Server that FotoWeb can use to access the database. Your database administrator can provide this information. If the SQL server is configured to use Windows or mixed mode authentication, you can use the trusted connection option. System Administrator (sa) User The configuration wizard needs an SQL server account with the owner privileges in order to create the initial database. This account is not used by FotoWeb after the database has been configured by the wizard. SMTP Server An SMTP server is required for the email functionality in the FotoWeb. However, FotoWeb can run without an SMTP server as well. If you do not already have an SMTP server, you can use the one that is available in Windows. This service is a part of IIS and can be installed through the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. You can choose not to define an SMTP server by leaving all the fields empty in this dialog. Not Defining an SMTP server If an SMTP server is not defined for at least one site on the system, the FotoWeb Mail service is disabled for all the sites in FotoWeb even if the other sites have defined their SMTP servers.
