General
A workflow defines a file transfer action to be performed on selected images / files. A destination is,
therefore, the location where the files are to be transferred to. Destinations are identified by their names
that must be unique and intuitive for each destination.
FotoWeb allows four (4) different types of destinations – file system, FTP server, HTTP server and
SMTP email, selectable using the Type dropdown box in the dialog shown below.
File system destination properties
The file system destination allows transfer of files on local disk or network. Simply enter the folder where
files are to be sent.
FTP destination properties
The FTP destination allows upload of selected files to a FTP server. This option requires the FTP server
name, path on server and login information.
HTTP destination properties
The HTTP destination allows upload of selected files to an HTTP server. This option requires an
HTTP server name, path on server and login information.
SMTP destination properties
The SMTP destination allows transfer of selected files through email. The destination utilizes the SMTP
server configured for the site to send emails, but requires email address of the recipient and message
subject and body.
