Miscellaneous
The Miscellaneous settings page contains a list of options that are rarely used or do not fit into any of the
other categories in the Site properties dialog box.
Treat guests as users
This option enables all permissions for the Guest account in FotoWeb Enterprise. This option does not have
any effect on the other editions. If you enable this option the guest user will be able to download files and use
albums according to the settings on the archives and the guest account itself. This setting is useful for intranet
sites where everyone should have access to everything without requiring accounts for each user.
Show full image grid even when less images display
This option instructs FotoWeb to continue producing empty cells and rows in the ‘ImageList’ tag-family.
It makes it possible to design an interface where the size of the thumbnail grid is known in advance.
Allow Home link in title bar to navigate to last search and position
If you enable this option users will return to the same position on the thumbnail grid page as they were
before entering albums, shopping cart or any other functionality in FotoWeb. If you enable this option
you must ensure that your templates are designed to support it 9 .
Highlight search words
This option enables hit highlighting. This feature utilizes four files:
• dsearch.noi
• English.abc
• Thesau.dat
• HighlighColors.dat
9 The templates that shipped with FotoWeb 6.0 Build 135 and newer are compatible with this version. The Release Notes for
this version explains how to upgrade old templates to support the functionality.
