Custom Properties FotoWeb has a built-in mechanism to allow storage of information that cannot be stored elsewhere. This is identified as Custom Properties. These properties can be set and removed both from this page and through FotoWeb tags ‘SetProperty’ and ‘GetProperty’. Text Editors FotoWeb uses text editors designed in FotoStation. The ‘Text Editors’ node displays list of all text editors available on the site. These text editors are linked to archives on the site and, therefore, each site must have at least one text editor available on the system at all times. The text editors shipped with the installer are located in the ‘editors’ folder under the FotoWeb installation folder, while the text editors for the site are located in the ‘editors’ folder under the site folder. Import Text Editors The text editors can be exported directly from FotoStation to the relevant FotoWeb site or they can be imported from FotoWeb using ‘Import…’ from the context menu. Text Editor Properties The property page of a text editor does not display the graphical layout of the editor as on FotoStation. Instead it displays some properties that are specific for FotoWeb only. Display name The display name is the same as the file name of the text editor.
