IIS7 on Windows Server 2008
In order to install IIS7 on Windows Server 2008, you must add ‘Web Server’ role. From the Start menu
navigate to ‘Administrative Tools | Server Manager’. This will bring up the ‘Server Manager’ console.
Click on the ‘Roles’ node to see the roles added to the server. In the action pane, click on the ‘Add Role’
link button.
This will start the ‘Add Roles Wizard’.
In the list of roles, select ‘Web Server (IIS)’.
