Users are logging on to the system to find information that is relevant to what they are working with. They often make good, exact searches, find what they are looking for and then log off. They seldom browse the archives randomly. The low number of simultaneous users and infrequent updates to the documents make the hardware requirements for this solution quite low. Security issues often require complex auto-searches may put some pressure on the system, but due to the low number of documents in the archive the impact on the performance is not significant. A few users are likely to work very frequently with the system, while most of the user base will log in seldom.
