A second carbon footprint for transport was calculated in 2010.
The calculation method was fine-tuned and the scope extended (worldwide,
including Supor). This new assessment gives an estimate of an average
of 265,000 tonnes of carbon missions linked to the transport of products,
materials and components in 2010. On a like-for-like basis, the recalculated
emissions for 2009 represent an average of around 305,000 tonnes.
Due to the complexity of the calculation, a portion of the emissions is still
based on extrapolations. The minimum and maximum data expressed
therefore represent an estimate range.

Ordinary (or non hazardous) industrial waste has increased in France and
worldwide, due to the increase in production. Special industrial waste has
also risen, especially in France, following the inclusion of asbestos waste
removal from a site.

The Panex (Brazil) site was ISO 14001 certified at year end 2010.
The sites of Supor have been included since 2008 in the ISO 14001
certification scope.
NB: In this table, the three Supor sites holding environmental certification
awarded by a Chinese organization are not considered as ISO 14001-certified
under Groupe SEB terms. An action plan is underway to ensure that these
sites progressively evolve to reach Groupe SEB standards.
