The Group owns all of its plants, except the Sao Bernardo (Brazil) and
Shanghai (China) sites.
Logistics warehouses and commercial and offi ce buildings are generally
leased, except for the Group’s headquarters building in Ecully and another
office building in Lyon.
All leases are with unrelated lessors and reflect normal market terms.
At 31 December 2010, the aggregate carrying amount of property, plant
and equipment held for sale was €3.2 million (€3.7 million at 31 December
2009 and €3.8 million at 31 December 2008). They correspond primarily
to manufacturing assets in Brazil for which the sale was agreed in 2008.
The actual sale took place after the year-end once the site decontamination
certificates had been obtained (see Note 31).
Other movements for 2008 mainly refl ected the fi rst-time consolidation
of Supor.
