d) Check exhauster for exhaust pipe leakage.<br />
e) Change swan neck gasket.<br />

Section E2<br />
Carry out the following:<br />
a) Examine the contacts <strong>of</strong> all electro-magnetic contactors removing the arc chutes,<br />
check bedding <strong>of</strong> contacts and tightness <strong>of</strong> connections, clean auxiliary contacts,<br />
clean and refit arc chutes.<br />
b) Measure contact gap <strong>of</strong> Tap Changer contractor (CGR), check the wear and<br />
change the contacts if necessary.<br />
c) Check and clean arcing horns.<br />
d) On battery (BA) panel check connections and blow <strong>of</strong>f dust.<br />
e) Check the condition <strong>of</strong> connections and switches on switchboard.<br />
f) Remove, clean and refit body-side filters.<br />
Section E3<br />
Carry out the following:<br />
a) In the traction motors check clearance between commutators and brush boxes.<br />
b) Check traction motor blower blades.
