3. Expert version:<br />
This <strong>installation</strong> tries to establish what is feasible. You have a 100% chance of running into bugs<br />
and/or CTDs (crash to desktop) and it has quite a long way to go be<strong>for</strong>e reaching perfection (if it ever<br />
does). The pertinent mods are greyed out in <strong>the</strong> <strong>instructions</strong>.<br />
Now all fixes and patches <strong>for</strong> all available mods will be copied into <strong>the</strong> intended folders. Missing setups<br />
will be completed and all setup will be updated to <strong>the</strong> latest version of WeiDU.<br />
The BiG World Fixpack will be started by <strong>the</strong> BiG World Install.bat.<br />
The real <strong>installation</strong> is terrifically simplified by <strong>the</strong> file BiG World Install.bat and <strong>the</strong> <strong>installation</strong> time<br />
is drastically reduced by many hours. Never<strong>the</strong>less, <strong>the</strong> <strong>installation</strong> of all components, as described<br />
in <strong>the</strong> <strong>instructions</strong>, takes more than 15 hours. These times refer to a computer with 2.66 GHz and<br />
can vary according to PC. The full <strong>installation</strong> requires 37.0 GB of hard drive space and temporary<br />
2.54 GB <strong>for</strong> <strong>Baldur's</strong> <strong>Gate</strong> I.<br />
The automated <strong>installation</strong> without any backups is intentional!<br />
At several steps single files get copied into <strong>the</strong> override folder. WeiDU cannot handle this. So,<br />
if you feel <strong>the</strong> need to change your <strong>installation</strong>, please don’t try un-installing and re-installing,<br />
but install <strong>the</strong> whole mod from scratch! Trust me - it’s safer!<br />
4. EDITING THE BATCH FILES<br />
However, possibly you want to install not all given mods and components. You can change <strong>the</strong> batch<br />
file quite simply individually. Read in addition <strong>the</strong> file BiG World Installpack read me.txt in <strong>the</strong> folder<br />
BiG World Installpack.<br />

<strong>the</strong> help of this guidance you can create your own <strong>Mega</strong>mod.<br />
Note: All <strong>the</strong>se tools will work with Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/Windows7, however not with<br />
