“Accruals and deferred income” include grants related to assets to be posted to the income statement in future
years in relation to amortization for 254 thousand euro.
23. Commitments
The company has provided guarantees for 2,523,573 thousand euro in the almost exclusive interest of Group
companies for commitments to banks. The amount includes 2,484,312 thousand euro relating to guarantees
issued to the subsidiary Italcementi Finance S.A. for the arrangement of new lines of credit and the bond loan.
